Private Group’s Border Wall Construction Frozen by Court

The Southern District of Texas temporarily halted efforts by a private group to construct a barrier along the southern border of the U.S.

The court issued a temporary restraining order Dec. 5, barring contractors for We Build the Wall Inc. from proceeding with construction of a bollard structure, wall or similar structure on a tract of land within the floodplain of the Rio Grande River, or cutting back the river bank.
