Prelogar Speaks Over Pro-Palestinian Protesters at Berkeley Law

US Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar’s commencement speech to graduating students at Berkeley Law was interrupted by near-constant protests, at least some of which were pro-Palestinian.

Prelogar, the federal government’s top lawyer at the US Supreme Court, was seemingly unfazed and spoke for more than 20 minutes Friday on the importance of storytelling in the legal field.

“She’s giving her speech over protesters chanting trying to interrupt her,” said Berkeley Law professor Orin Kerr on X, formerly known as Twitter. “This is really something.”
