Perkins Coie Sued By Inventor for Failing to File Patents

Perkins Coie is being sued in a New York trial court by a company that developed a remote-control headphone system, claiming a patent attorney at the large law firm failed to file patent applications relating to the system and lied about it.

Hiring the firm was a “fatal mistake,” the Jan. 17 complaint filed by Muzik Inc., says.
