Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) must end his lawsuit claiming Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue acccepts funds from foreign sources or through untraceable cash gift cards, a Boston federal judge ruled.
US District Judge Richard Stearns said Thursday the Texas attorney general filed his state court lawsuit in bad faith to harass ActBlue, which has facilitated billions of dollars in donations to Democratic candidates and causes since its founding, including Paxton’s opponent for the US Senate, James Talarico (D).
