Patent Owner Suing Meta Asks to Shift Case to Judge Albright

Judge Alan Albright should hear a months-old patent-infringement suit against Meta Platforms Inc., a plaintiff said, citing the judge’s recent move to Austin, Texas, and an order assigning him a large chunk of federal cases filed there.

Albright is familiar with Mullen Industries LLC and Meta after overseeing other disputes between the companies, according to a motion to reassign filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
