Patent, Business Litigator Confirmed as Delaware Federal Judge

Fox Rothschild LLP partner Gregory B. Williams was confirmed by the US Senate to be the next judge in the US District Court for the District of Delaware, one of the busiest patent venues in the country.

The Senate approved Williams in a 52-43 vote to succeed Judge Leonard P. Stark, who was elevated to the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit earlier this year. Williams will be the second Black judge to ever sit on the Delaware federal bench, and the court’s only current judge of color.
