Out-of-State Vapers Suing LG Chem in Georgia Checkmated

Five electronic cigarette users are unable to sue South Korea-based battery maker LG Chem Ltd. in Georgia because it lacks enough connection to the cases under the state’s jurisdiction statute, according to a federal court there.

And the cases won’t be transferred to the nonresidents’ home states, Judge Steven D. Grimberg said Thursday for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
