Orbitz Contract No Help in Getting Rental Car Dispute Arbitrated

The arbitration clause in the contract between Orbitz.com and the travel booking site’s users proved to be of no help to a car rental agency that wanted to move a dispute with one of its customers out of court, according to an Eleventh Circuit ruling.

Orbitz’s contract requires users to arbitrate all disputes related to “any services or products provided,” but the contract Sixt Rent A Car uses in its rental agreement doesn’t have a similar arbitration clause.
