Online video seller Old School Ventures Inc. must face a proposed class action alleging it disclosed the purchasing histories of its customers in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act.
Lead plaintiff Joseph Mull adequately pleaded that OSV violated the VPPA in selling a mailing list containing consumers’ information to data aggregators, Judge Gerald J. Pappert of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said in an opinion docketed Tuesday.
