Two whistleblowers adequately alleged that Oklahoma-based nursing facility company LTC Accounting Services LLC and others violated the False Claims Act by making misrepresentations about its use of Covid-19 pandemic support funds, a federal district court said.
Shannon Dunn and Michael Brandon Morgan’s complaint included sufficient detail to move forward with a claim LTC certified that it would use Provider Relief Fund payments on Covid-19 related expenses, but instead made payments to shareholders, Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma said in a Monday order.
