Oklahoma Can Prohibit Trans Care Despite Parental Rights Fight

Oklahoma can enforce a ban on using certain drugs and hormones to treat gender dysphoria in minors while the provision’s constitutionality is being litigated, the Tenth Circuit said Wednesday.

The parent that sued are unlikely to succeed on their claim that the law violates a fundamental due process right to direct their children’s upbringing, including deciding what medical care the minors can access, the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit said.
