Ocasio-Cortez Pushes Back in Suit Over Twitter Account

U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) claimed she can block people on her personal Twitter account without violating their First Amendment rights.

In Knight First Amendment Inst. at Columbia Univ. v. Trump, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ruled that President Donald Trump violated the First Amendment by blocking people on his @realDonaldTrump Twitter account.

Dov Hikind, who was blocked on Ocasio-Cortez’s @AOC account, sued her claiming she violated his First Amendment rights under Trump.
