A conservative political group can’t legally force New York City to let it paint its murals on city streets, the Southern District of New York said, rejecting the argument that the Big Apple’s endorsement of Black Lives Matter murals meant it had to allow others to also express their views.
Women for America First alleged that the city violated their First Amendment free speech rights when it denied their request to paint an expressive message at or near Fifth Avenue.
