No Second Look for Muslims’ Damages Suit Over No-Fly List

Muslim men put on the “no-fly list” can continue their Religious Freedom Restoration Act suit seeking damages from federal officials.

The en banc U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit Feb. 14 declined to review the May 2018 panel ruling allowing the suit.

The men assert that they were placed on the no-fly list because they refused to gather information about Muslim communities for law enforcement officials, in violation of their religious liberty.
