The National Labor Relations Board’s top lawyer is asking the board to strengthen the remedies it imposes for companies’ violations of labor law involving illegal rules or contract terms.
Making a worker whole for suffering the effects of a faulty rule or contract term means addressing its lingering harms, such as expunging any discipline or retracting past enforcement connected to that rule or term, NLRB General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo said in a brief filed Monday.
