NJ Officials Win Expedited Proceedings on Concealed Carry Appeal

New Jersey state officials convinced the Third Circuit to grant expedited proceedings for their bid to revive the state’s ban on concealed guns in sensitive places, which was preliminarily blocked in part by a lower court last month.

The US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit granted the officials’ motion Friday over the objections of a group of gun owners in the state, who also filed an appeal of the lower court’s order to the Third Circuit the same day.
