Nike Customer Drops Pen-Register Suit Over Online Data Tracking

A consumer voluntarily dismissed her proposed class action alleging Nike Inc. collected and disclosed her personal information to Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc., and Trade Desk Inc. without consent in violation of the California Invasion of Privacy Act.

Lead plaintiff Saleha Abdullah filed a notice of voluntary dismissal Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California. The filing comes two months after the parties filed a joint notice of settlement with the court.
