The NFL and DirecTV LLC’s win in an antitrust class action against them involving their Sunday Ticket television package was formalized by a federal court in California.
Vacating the $4.7 billion jury award against the defendants and entering final judgment, Judge Philip S. Gutierrez of the US District Court for the Central District of California Tuesday said that the defendants were the prevailing party and that he retained jurisdiction over the case to determine whether any costs should be paid by the plaintiffs.
