Federal Circuit Judge Pauline Newman, the nation’s oldest active federal judge, appealed the dismissal of her lawsuit challenging her colleagues’ decision to bar her from hearing cases.
The US District Court for the District of Columbia dismissed Newman’s case Tuesday, largely on jurisdictional grounds. Nemwan’s lawyer filed notice Wednesday that the judge is appealing to the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
