New York Attorney Disbarred for Practicing While Suspended

A New York attorney was disbarred by a New York court for continuing to practice law while suspended for the past several years.

“In determining the appropriate sanction, we note that respondent continued her contemptuous conduct well after the date that she learned of her suspension and find that her flagrant disregard of our order warrants a significant sanction,” an appellate division of the Supreme Court of New York said in its opinion on Thursday.
