NAACP Fails in Challenge to Tennessee Felon Voting Rule (1)

A Tennessee law that requires some convicted felons to provide documentation proving that they’re eligible to vote is safe at least for the time being, the Sixth Circuit said.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People didn’t show it had standing to file the suit, Judge Eric E. Murphy said Thursday for the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
