N.Y. Lawyer Suspended for Not Cooperating With Ethics Probe

A New York lawyer who didn’t respond to multiple information requests about insufficient funds in his trust account from the state grievance committee was suspended for one year by a state appeals court.

Ramses Delva has a “disturbing pattern and practice of failing to cooperate with Grievance Committee investigations,” and displays a “flagrant disregard for the disciplinary process,” the Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division, Second Department, said Nov. 4.
