A dispute between music festival creators will proceed on breach-of-contract claims only, after a superior court judge in Delaware dismissed tortious interference allegations Wednesday.
The seven companies that planned and operated San Diego’s Kaaboo festival sued Virgin Fest Investco LLC after a business deal with a Virgin Fest affiliate soured. The lawsuit alleged Investco tortiously interfered with a sales contract that was overly onerous for Kaaboo, causing it to breach the deal.
