Munger Tolles Partner to Be Nominated US Attorney in Los Angeles

The White House announced plans to nominate five US attorneys, including ones who would serve in districts that encompass Los Angeles and Milwaukee.

E. Martin Estrada, a partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson and a former assistant US attorney, is the administration’s pick to serve as chief federal prosecutor in the Central District of California, according to a White House press release Monday.

Gregory Haanstad, a federal prosecutor in the Eastern District of Wisconsin who previously served as its US attorney from 2016 to 2018, will be nominated for the same job again.
