Molina Healthcare Asks SCOTUS to Address False Claims Standards

Molina Healthcare of Illinois Inc. urged the U.S. Supreme Court to address whether it should have to face a whistleblower’s False Claims Act suit alleging that it made misrepresentations to Medicaid about its performance of a skilled nursing facility services contract.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit erred by holding that the whistleblower’s complaint had sufficient detail to satisfy federal pleading standards, and highlighted to two circuit splits in doing so, Molina said in its petition docketed Thursday.
