The terms “lewd” and “lascivious” were on trial Wednesday, as pop star dancing came up when federal judges weighed whether Florida’s law targeting minors’ drag show attendance violates the First Amendment.

Three Eleventh Circuit judges pressed lawyers for drag-centered restaurant Hamburger Mary’s and the state of Florida about where a government can draw the line between sexual conduct, speech and protection for children.
