- Richard Presutti led M&A practice at former firm
- Antonio Diaz-Albertini spent six years at Schulte
Milbank LLP has hired two former Schulte Roth & Zabel partners, Richard Presutti and Antonio Diaz-Albertini, to expand the firm’s private equity bench.
Presutti will join Milbank’s global corporate group after serving as an executive committee member and co-chair of Schulte’s mergers and acquisitions and securities group. Diaz-Albertini will join the global capital markets group after almost six years at Schulte.
The additions are “an instrumental step in our continued strategic expansion,” Norbert Rieger, global head of Milbank’s Corporate Group, said in a statement.
The Presutti and Diaz-Albertini moves to the New York office follow eight other Milbank hires scattered across the globe, representing the firm’s investment in corporate and private equity practice.
Milbank had a big year in spite of the pandemic, reporting revenue of $1.2 billion for 2020. Milbank joined many Big Law firms that are awarding associates special bonuses for their hard work, the firm announced last week.
Presutti and Diaz-Albertini’s “deep transactional knowledge and experience advising some of the world’s leading private equity firms will be invaluable,” Scott Edelman, Milbank’s chairman, said in the statement.
