McGuireWoods Recruits Two Former Federal Prosecutors in Dallas

Michael Elliott and Mindy Sauter have joined McGuireWoods as partners with the government investigations and white collar litigation practice in Dallas, the firm said Wednesday.

Elliott served as assistant US attorney in the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas, and Sauter served as assistant US attorney in the Northern District of Texas and was previously a state prosecutor, according to McGuireWoods. They founded Elliott Sauter PLLC in 2017.

They represent individuals and corporations in criminal proceedings, internal investigations and civil litigation that deal with healthcare regulatory and compliance issues, McGuireWoods said.

They are joined by counsel Chris Quinlan.
