Trial lawyers Richard Salgado and David Genender have joined McDermott Will & Emery as partners in Dallas, Texas, the law firm said Monday.
Salgado, who joins from Jones Day, specializes in complex disputes involving tort, and intellectual property, and other claims, according to McDermott.
He has previously represented Adventist Health System, the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops, and billionaire Georg F.W. Schaeffler, among other clients, according to federal court dockets.
Salgado also represented a group of congressional Republicans backing a high school football coach who lost his job for conducting post-game prayers.
