President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the US Marshals Service was confirmed with bipartisan support, teeing him to take the helm of the Justice Department agency as threats against federal judges climb.

The Republican-led Senate voted 59-39 to confirm Gadyaces Serralta on Thursday, with five Democrats and one independent voting in favor of his nomination, including Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
