Proposed tweaks to a research-and-development tax credit form are coming under fire for boosting compliance costs on companies and cutting against congressional intent behind the credits.
The National Association of Manufacturers, or NAM, sent a letter Tuesday saying the changes would put an “undue burden” on its members and asked the agency to nix the changes completely.
