Man Arrested With Anti-Police Shirt Sees Suit Revived on Appeal

A man who wore a shirt bearing the message “Fuck the Police” to an Ohio county fair and cursed at officers who escorted him away can pursue a false arrest and retaliation lawsuit, because his speech was protected by the First Amendment, the Sixth Circuit said Tuesday.
