Lyft Appeals Arbitration Denial in California Gig Worker Fight

Lyft Inc. wants a California appeals court to toss a judge’s denial of its and Uber Technology Inc.’s bid to force into arbitration state claims that the ride-share companies misclassify drivers.

The California Court of Appeal, First District, on Tuesday lodged Lyft’s appeal in the coordinated claims of the state labor commissioner and attorney general.
