A former Louisiana State University assistant athletic director, who alleged school leadership and its athletics department retaliated against her after she reported a then-head football coach for allegedly sexually harassing students, couldn’t revive her civil RICO claims.
Sharon Lewis alleged LSU’s board of supervisors, the athletics department, and the outside counsel it obtained to investigate the sexual harassment allegations against former head football coach Les Miles “engaged in a concerted effort to illegally conceal” the investigation report and Miles’ wrongdoing, the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit said.
