President Joe Biden announced four nominees for US district courts on Monday, including a selection for a state with two Republican senators.
Trial attorney Darrel Papillion would fill a seat on the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Papillion, a partner at the firm Walters, Papillion, Thomas, Cullens and a former president of the Louisiana State Bar Association, already has important support from Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.).
