Lincoln University Students May Seek Refund From Covid Semester

A college student, who paid full tuition to attend Lincoln University in person but was relegated to online classes when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, may proceed with her class action to recoup part of the tuition and fees paid, a federal court said.

Benita Dixon alleged that various school materials promoted the benefits of in-person education and that the tuition and fees it charged reflected that experience. But when the college was required to provide only online classes during the pandemic, it didn’t refund any portion of their fees or tuition, she said.
