Lewis Brisbois Sued for Role in Dairy Manure Venture (1)

A Slovakian financial advisory company is suing Big Law firm Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith and one of its partners in a California court relating to its representation of the company in a joint venture in 2017.

Dynastion alleges in its complaint filed Sept. 30 that the firm and partner John Yung didn’t provide “adequate informed consent” and acted negligently during its representation of the company.

The venture involved “the construction and operation of anaerobic digesters, which were systems that converted dairy-cow manure into usable electricity,” according to the complaint filed in the Superior Court of California for the County ...
