Lesbian Police Officer’s Bias Suit Dismissed in San Francisco

The San Francisco Police Department’s investigation into a romantic relationship between two female employees was reasonable based on a potential conflict of interest, and wasn’t motivated by gender or sexual orientation bias, a state appellate court said Wednesday.

Department employees Josey Russell and Nadia Mohamed, who had been in a romantic relationship since 2014, worked closely together when Mohamed became a field training officer on a team where Russell was the training coordinator.
