LeClairRyan Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

LeClairRyan filed for Chapter 11 protection in the Eastern District of Virginia after announcing in August that it would dissolve after years of financial woes and partner departures.

Debts Owed: Richmond, Va.-based LeClairRyan estimated assets and liabilities of between $10 million and $50 million. It estimates the number of creditors at 200 to 999, and the roster of those with unsecured claims includes Latham & Watkins and Integreon, an alternative legal services provider.
