An attorney who shouted at a magistrate judge and failed to comply with court orders could not convince the Second Circuit to overturn sanctions ordered against her, including a six-month suspension from practice before that court.
The sanctions against Tara Demetriades, stemming in part from failures to adhere to court-imposed deadlines and to properly investigate certain cases, must stand, according to the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
