Law Clerking Transparency Project Gets Support from Judges

A nonprofit aimed at helping law clerks have positive experiences is calling on judges to publicly commit to sharing a survey about working in chambers with their current and former clerks.

Eight judges across the state and federal level have signed The Legal Accountability Project’s pledge so far, and three others who are retired or don’t have clerks are also publicly supporting it. Aliza Shatzman, the project’s founder and president, said other judges have privately committed to sharing the post-clerkship survey with their clerks.
