Kitsch Says Company Infringing Shower Caddy Design Patent

Kitsch LLC is suing a company for selling shower caddies that allegedly infringe its design patent.

Blue Hills & Co. LLC—doing business as SpaceAid—willfully copied Kitsch’s patent, US Patent No. D1,025,647 — for a self-draining shower caddy — without any authorization, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

“To an ordinary observer, SpaceAid’s Infringing Products would be substantially the same as the patented design,” Kitsch says in attaching a side-by-side comparison of its product with the allegedly infringing one.
