Kirkland’s Paul Clement Scores Two High-Court Wins in One Day

Kirkland & Ellis partner Paul Clement added to his already-storied Supreme Court success on Friday by winning two separate cases in disputes with big money at stake.

The former U.S. solicitor general, who has argued over 100 high-court cases, fended off consumer credit-reporting claims for TransUnion and made Alaska Native Corporations eligible for coronavirus-relief funding.

The banner day for the firm follows another two-win outing in April, when Clement and Kirkland partner Craig Primis achieved victories for Facebook and the state of Georgia, respectively.
