Kirkland & Ellis advised Jacksonville, Florida-based Warren Equity Partners Manager LP on the close of its fourth flagship private equity fund focused on investments in infrastructure businesses.
The WEP IV fund closed at over $1.4 billion. It received commitments from pension funds, insurance companies, endowments and foundations, fund of funds, and family offices, according to a statement.
Warren Equity Partners identifies its investment focus as middle market, North American businesses that maintain, operate, and upgrade infrastructure. It has raised more than $3.3 billion and completed 99 transactions, including the acquisition of 26 platform companies.
