King & Spalding Off Hook for Retaliation Claim in Ethics Case

A fired King & Spalding attorney who alleged in a lawsuit the firm retaliated against him after he attempted to report ethical concerns didn’t prove his case, a Manhattan federal jury found.

David Joffe didn’t prove by the preponderance of the evidence that he had a reasonable belief the Big Law firm acted unethically and that it fired him for the alleged behavior, the jury concluded.
