Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron (R) will ask the Sixth Circuit to resolve lingering questions regarding the state’s restrictions on abortion, including one that requires “qualified” physicians to obtain consent before prescribing abortion-inducing drugs.
Cameron informed of the US District Court for the Western District of Kentucky that he’s appealing to the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit an Aug. 30 order that kept in place a preliminary injunction against certain provisions of the state’s Humanity in Healthcare Act, which contains new regulations governing abortions.
