A Democratic-affiliated group has asked the judiciary to take another look at misconduct complaints against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The same judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit dismissed the complaints Dec. 18, saying that they had no power to look into Kavanaugh’s conduct after he was elevated to the Supreme Court.
The Judicial Conduct and Disability Act, the federal law establishing a process for filing judicial misconduct complaints, only covers lower court judges, they said at the time.
