Neomi Rao, the Trump administration’s top regulatory official, was confirmed on Wednesday to the appeals court seat vacated by now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Rao cleared the Senate 53 to 46 to become the 36th Trump circuit nominee to win confirmation. She’ll be seated on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
