K&L Gates has added Naoki Kawada as a corporate partner and Ryan Keech as a partner in the intellectual property practice in Los Angeles, the firm said Tuesday.
Kawada, who served as the firmwide chair of the Japan practice at Perkins Coie, handles cross-border corporate, commercial, technology, and intellectual property transactions, and provides general labor and commercial transactional advice, according to K&L Gates.
Keech joins from Ellis George Cipollone O’Brien Annaguey and focuses on entertainment, business, and non-patent intellectual property disputes, K&L Gates said. He also previously served as in-house counsel for the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
