Justices to Mull Violent Crime Limits in Mafia Aide’s Case (1)

The US Supreme Court agreed to hear an appeal from the associate of an organized crime family, who argues his attempted murder charge isn’t a crime of violence that qualifies for a mandatory minimum prison sentence.

In an order Monday, the court said it will look at whether someone can commit a crime of violence without taking any action or using any force at all.
